Tend the Grove: Introducing the Seeds Program
Delegate stGROVE to participate in Grove governance. Seeds record your participation.
Every grove starts with a seed. This one flourishes with yours. The Seeds Program is live, and it is built for every GROVE holder who takes an active role in the protocol's future through governance.
Stake, delegate, and be counted.
Your stGROVE, when delegated, keeps your vote present in every governance decision. Governance is only as strong as the participation behind it, and Seeds are the record of yours.
How Seeds Are Weighted
Seeds reflect a weighted measure of participation in Grove governance. They accrue daily on delegated stGROVE at a base rate of 0.01 Seeds per delegated stGROVE per day.
The following weightings apply when calculating Seeds:
- Early Participation Weighting: A 3× weighting applies to Seeds accrued during the first 14 days of the program, recognizing early participation in Grove governance.
- Duration Weighting: Participation is weighted based on how long you have held GROVE, whether unstaked, staked, or delegated. The weighting is tracked per wallet, with the holding period measured from 6 July.
- Ecosystem Participation Weighting: A 1.5× weighting applies to GROVE received through Ecosystem Rewards that is subsequently staked and delegated. The weighting remains in effect while those tokens remain staked and resets if the wallet's GROVE or stGROVE balance decreases.
Seeds are non-transferable, have no monetary value, and confer no claim, entitlement, or right to any payment, token, distribution, or other benefit. Weightings apply cumulatively. Balances update daily in the Grove App.
